Connecting Community, History & Life

The Transylvania Heritage Museum strives to engage the community in the celebration of its history and introduce our local heritage to those who visit and/or relocate here. It does this through high quality and diverse exhibits as well as interesting programs and events.

On permanent display at the Museum is "Cascadia: Land of the Waterfalls". Other exhibits will change occasionally. Currently they include: a Timeline of the area, Cherokee artifacts, Early Settlers, Logging, Mills, and an Old Post Office (Balsam Grove). Click here to see photos of some exhibits. But the best way to experience the exhibits is to come visit and see for yourself!
