The Transylvania Heritage Coalition Board of Directors at their November 15th, 2007 regular meeting unanimously selected Rebecca Suddeth of Rosman to become the first director of the upcoming new county heritage center/museum. Suddeth will begin as a volunteer during the month of December and then assume full responsibility January 1st, 2008.

Rebecca is the perfect person to aid in creating the start-up of this countywide effort,” said Tony Morrow, departing director of the Jim Bob Tinsley Museum, which will close its doors permanently on December 22nd. “This project will be in good hands with Rebecca Suddeth.”
