The Transylvania County Heritage Center and the Tinsley Museum are pleased to announce Fiddlin' Dwight Moody will be at the Museum Saturday August 4th, 2007 from noon till 3:00pm. At that time Dwight will be signing and discussing his new book, "The Life of Dwight Moody Jr. - A North Carolina Fiddler". Dwight has also contacted a few of his musician friends from the area to play a few tunes during this time.
Dwight Moody is a classic example of a man who has "Been There & Done That!" An Internationally known musician, minister, recording artist, producer, speaker, successful businessman, husband and father, a Rotarian and Shriner.
He was taught to play guitar and mandolin at an early age by his uncle and aunt. Dwight's first professional gig came when he was just a youngster, performing with his kinfolks at a rally for the Governor of Virginia.
