 With mixed emotions, the
Jim Bob Tinsley Museum & Transylvania County Heritage Center
announces the sale of the beautiful quilt, "Threads of a Cowboy".
The quilt was auctioned on January 20th, 2007 in Scottsdale, Arizona
by High Noon Western Auction Company.
Tom Fredrickson, treasurer of the
Tinsley Museum & Heritage Center explained the mixed emotions by
stating, "the quilt was donated to the Museum for the purpose of
raising money to support the museum & heritage center and for
that we are very pleased. The sad part is we have parted with a
beautiful work of art."
In April of 2005, Crystal & Rick
Austin of Janesville, Wisconsin donated the quilt, "Threads of a
Cowboy" to the
